EZ DECK

Deck boards. One face at a time.

Create parallel deck boards on a flat face, following rounded, irregular, or concave outlines and existing openings.

Adjust board width, gap, thickness, and angle. Use Flip Side to reverse the direction the boards project from the face, and optionally apply your current Paint Bucket material.

Tested on Windows with SketchUp 2026. Other desktop versions and macOS have not been verified. Not available for SketchUp for Web.

EZ Deck demonstration: parallel deck boards generated on a flat face, following its outline and openings.

Choose your settings, activate the tool, hover over a face to preview the layout, and click to generate. The tool returns to SketchUp’s Select tool after generation; activate it again for another placement.

GOOD TO KNOW

Results are ordinary editable groups; the original face remains.
Works on flat faces. Curved surfaces are unsupported.
Openings must exist in the source face. Placing a separate window, door, or other object over it does not create an opening automatically.
Settings affect new results. To change an existing layout, undo or delete the generated result and apply again.
Works independently without EZ Cabinet, an account, or a license key.

INSTALLATION

When the download is available:

Download the EZ Deck RBZ file and leave it zipped.
In SketchUp 2026, open Extensions → Extension Manager → Install Extension, select the RBZ, and follow the installation prompts.
Find the settings under Extensions → EZ Deck → EZ Deck Settings.
