Purchases and support

Payments are processed through Stripe’s hosted checkout. Our purchase records include your customer email, payment amount and currency, Stripe transaction identifiers, offer type, and the associated license. We use these records to fulfill purchases, deliver licenses, assist with payment questions and refunds, and maintain purchase records. Card details are entered with Stripe; our purchase database does not store full card numbers or card security codes.

When you contact support, we receive your email address and the messages or files you choose to send. We use that correspondence to answer questions and handle support, licensing, refund, and privacy requests. Please do not send payment-card details.

Licensing and installation information

For Pro activation, validation, and transfer, EZ Cabinet sends your license key and a randomly generated installation identifier to our license service over HTTPS. The identifier is stored in SketchUp preferences and identifies that installation; it is not a hardware fingerprint.

We keep license records, including license status, seat limits, and any expiration setting, together with installation activation records and validation/deactivation times. These support license delivery, seat management, transfers, and verification of Pro access. SketchUp also stores your license key, installation identifier, and last successful validation time locally. License requests do not include your SketchUp model or cabinet geometry.

Ideas and community participation

The Ideas feature does not require an account. Submitted names or nicknames, idea titles, descriptions, posting dates, and vote totals are publicly displayed. If you omit your name, the post is displayed as “Anonymous”; this does not make associated technical records anonymous. Do not include private, confidential, or sensitive information in a post.

Your browser generates a community visitor identifier and sends it when you post or vote. The backend stores a keyed hash of that identifier to limit spam and duplicate votes. Posts also include a math-challenge token and answer for spam prevention. The community identifier is separate from the extension’s installation identifier.

Website traffic and operational logs

Our server logs record IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, response status, referring pages when provided, and browser or user-agent information. We analyze these logs to estimate website visits, referrals, downloads, and tutorial requests, and to help operate and protect the service. IP-based counts are estimates, not anonymous measurements or proof of installations or purchases.

Requested URLs can contain checkout-session identifiers. Application logs can also contain purchase and licensing information, including customer emails, transaction identifiers, and license keys. These logs support fulfillment diagnostics and service operation. The website does not currently load advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts; server-log measurement still takes place.

Service providers

Stripe processes payments and handles information entered at checkout under its own practices. See the Stripe Privacy Policy. IONOS provides our VPS hosting and provider backups, which support storage and operation of the website, API, and database. See the IONOS Privacy Policy.

Retention and backups

Purchase, license, activation, community, and support records have different operational purposes and do not all have a single automatic deletion period. Active records are separate from the backup files that may contain copies of them.

• Nginx is configured to rotate logs daily and retain 14 rotated files. This is a rotation setting, not a promise that every log or backup is erased after exactly 14 days.
• Scheduled database backup files are retained for 30 days. This does not mean active customer or license records are deleted after 30 days.
• Application logs, other operational backups, and IONOS backups have varying retention. We do not specify a fixed deletion period for these copies here. Backup copies may remain after records are removed from active systems.

Privacy questions and requests

Email support@inveltools.com with privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information, or to exercise other rights available under applicable law. We may need information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Some records may need to be retained for continuing license service, transaction records, or legal obligations. Requests are handled through support; there is no self-service deletion tool.

Free and Pro use

EZ Cabinet is an extension for SketchUp desktop. The free version includes Slab cabinet fronts, one pull style, and one knob style without a paid license. Pro unlocks additional cabinet-front styles, expanded pull and knob collections, and molding features. You may use the features available to you for personal or commercial modeling work.

The software is licensed for use, not sold as ownership of its source or assets. A standard Pro license provides one seat. You may move it to another installation using the license-transfer process; this deactivates the previous installation’s seat. Keep your key private. Subject to applicable law, do not share or resell license keys, use a single-seat key for multiple active installations, or bypass license controls.

Validation and offline access

Pro requires internet access for activation and periodic validation. The extension can cache successful checks and supports an offline grace period of up to seven days following successful validation when the license service cannot be reached. A lifetime license does not remove validation requirements. If Pro cannot be validated or the license is inactive, Pro features may become unavailable while the free features remain accessible.

Founding lifetime offer

The Founding Offer is $36 one-time for a lifetime EZ Cabinet Pro license and is limited to at most the first 100 customers. Invel Tools may close the offer to new purchases earlier at its owner’s discretion; SketchUp Extension Warehouse approval is the anticipated cutoff. The offer may end before all 100 places are sold.

Customers who purchase during the Founding Offer keep their lifetime Pro access, including access to future Invel Tools extensions as they are released. Ending the offer does not expire those licenses or convert them to annual subscriptions. Future Pro licenses will be annual after the Founding Offer ends. These lifetime entitlements remain subject to the license-use terms and the refund policy below. No particular future extension or release date is promised.

Download availability

Once EZ Cabinet is available through SketchUp Extension Warehouse, Invel Tools may stop hosting the extension download directly on this website and direct users there to download it instead. We plan to continue handling Pro license purchases, license keys, support, and related account and license functions through the Invel Tools website and services. A change in download location does not change existing license entitlements.

Software disclaimer and limits of liability

We do not guarantee that EZ Cabinet will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every project. Keep backups and check generated geometry, dimensions, and designs before using them for fabrication or construction. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Invel Tools is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the software, such as lost profits or business interruption. This does not limit our stated license commitments, the 14-day refund guarantee, or any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Community use

Post only material you are entitled to share. Do not post spam, unlawful or abusive content, confidential information, or another person’s private information. By submitting an idea, you allow us to display it on the public Ideas page and consider it for product development. You retain ownership of your submitted content. We may moderate or remove inappropriate posts; posting or voting does not guarantee that an idea will be implemented.

14-day money-back guarantee

To receive a full refund of your purchase price, email support@inveltools.com within 14 days of purchase and ask for a refund. Include the email used for the purchase or a receipt reference so we can locate it. Do not send card details.

Refunds are processed manually, and the associated Pro license is manually revoked. There is no automatic or instant processing promise; the time for funds to appear also depends on the payment provider and your financial institution. After revocation, the license no longer grants Pro access, but you may continue using EZ Cabinet’s free features.

This guarantee is in addition to any refund or consumer rights you have under applicable law and does not limit those rights.

The website’s current scripts use browser local storage and session storage for the purposes below. They do not set first-party cookies. Browser storage is distinct from server logs and the extension’s SketchUp preferences.

Light/dark theme

Local storage remembers your selected theme between visits.

Ideas visitor identifier and voting history

Local storage holds the generated community visitor identifier and IDs of ideas you have voted on. The identifier is sent to the community API for posting and voting. These values persist until cleared by you or your browser; the site does not set an expiry for them.

Checkout-session reference

The purchase-success page saves the Stripe checkout-session ID in session storage so it can retrieve your license again on refresh. It also removes the checkout query string from the visible URL after successful retrieval. Session storage normally ends when the tab or browser session closes, although browser session restoration can preserve it.

You can clear this information using your browser’s site-data settings. This resets your theme and locally remembered community identity/votes, and may prevent the success page from retrieving your purchase again without the checkout reference. Clearing browser storage does not delete server-side posts, votes, purchase records, licenses, logs, or backups, and does not clear SketchUp’s extension preferences. Contact support for help with records held by us.

Stripe’s separate checkout may use cookies or similar technologies for payment, security, and other functions described in its privacy notice. Those practices are separate from the local storage used on this website.
